We offer 70 dance and fitness classes each week (for ages 4 and up) – there’s something for everyone at any experience level!
Classes are run on a casual drop-in basis. There are no terms or start dates, so you can join in at any time of the year.
Our Mantra workout is the unique pattern that is followed only in Dancing Mantras. It consists of fun loving moves to improve fitness using resistance technique, mind twisters with fun masala and lovely Bollywood n Hollywood mix. It also blends yoga stretching movement with the graceful control of dance to tone and invigorate the body and release stress. Jazz dance represents our popular culture and it is forever changing. Lyrical combines the techniques of Jazz and Classical ballet. Lyrical is a slower, melodic, and more expressive form of Jazz often to ballad music. Dancers gain fluidity of movement, grace and control.
Salsa is one of the most popular forms of dancing in the world and it’s probably the easiest and quickest dance to pick up.
The good part is – You don’t need a dance partner to learn to dance salsa. Salsa has a great social element where the majority of dancers come without partners. It’s a great dance that’ll make you smile and give you confidence, all set to a hot Latin beat.
Salsa also helps you build confidence in meeting new people and interacting with others of the opposite sex, as you’ll be doing a lot of both in any given night of salsa.
Rock-n-Roll originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940’s early 1950’s. In India it was introduced by the legendary Shammi Kapoor in early 70s. This dance does not progress around the dance floor – it’s very much ‘on the spot’.
